As more and more November due dates pop up on the 1st trimester board I am left wondering...is it seriously March already!? You've got to be kidding me right?...I can't believe in just a few short months this blog will be featuring baby announcements and baby pics!

1. How has 2nd tri been? Is it really the "honeymoon trimester"?
2. Any new symptoms (or disappearing symptoms) this week?
3. Have you felt any movement yet??? Where is it located? (high, low, left, right, etc.)
4. Have you picked out your nursery colors/theme? Have you started getting anything ready yet? (Painting, Crib set up, clothes washed, etc.)

(Painting, Crib set up, clothes washed, etc.) We painted our nursery a creamy off white and kind of a dusty rose pink. I put all of the furniture together a couple weeks ago. And this past week I got the letters for her name, DH painted them, I put on the bows, and he hung them up.

6. Have you registered? Where and what's your FAV. must have registry item? We registered a long time ago. Just at BRU. No items I'm particularly excited about getting...

3. yup, usually low as he is feet down at the moment.
4. Lets see... we painted the walls before we knew the gender, and bought a 3pc nursery set (crib, combo, dresser) that is all set up.... havent boughten anything else. We are doing Monkeys.

6. yup we are registered... cant pick a favorite right now I love it all its so cute!
7. We have a name! Aiden Timothy (DH's name is Timothy and I am Irish so we picked Aiden, plus I love it (its not popular around here at all actually). We just got a hat with his name on it from Etsy! Its soo cute!!! See Blog for a picture!!

4. It will be a baby bird theme. Bought some fabric yesterday to start the quilt and curtains!

6. We are registering tonight at Buy Buy Baby and Target--FINALLY
7. We took an infant CPR class yesterday through the AHA and I highly recommend it to anyone who hasn't before--good info to know!

3. Tons of movement. Pretty low still. She likes the basement apartment instead of the upper flat, haha
4. Yes :) I am such a planner. We have the walls painted, and all the furniture set up. I washed the clothes we already have, yesterday.

6. Our main registry is at Buy Buy Baby and our favorite item is the Baby Jogger City Select stroller :) (biggest splurge for baby!) We also have a small registry at BRU.

3. Right below my belly button, on the right. And sometimes on the left too :) I get lil kicks on the right.
4. We are doing mainly a Pooh theme :) It's really cute. Tons of blue/green. We ordered the crib/changing table the other day.
5. We found out last week that we are on Team BLUE!! :) Tristan is his name, we are working on the MN
6. Not yet. We are registering this week/weekend.
7. I can't believe it's March! I'm so excited to meet my little man. My next appt is on St Pattys Day :)
1. This trimester has been pretty easy, love that I actually "feel" pregnant!

3. I feel him move all the time, especially at night or after I eat and it seems to be all over!
4. We bought bedding with bright colored polka dots and my husband is making some art work for the walls. We are trying to keep it simple and less themey!

6. We are all set and registered at Babies R Us and Target!
7. We have another ultrasound this Friday because of some problems with my placenta, excited to see him again but nervous about the results. Send me positive vibes!
1. Great! I feel like myself for the most part. I'm not too big but I'm showing so it's been great. DH would agree!!
ReplyDelete2. Just some uterus stretching pains (or early braxton hicks as the doc said it could be)
3. Yes! Just had another big movement moment last Friday. Movement is usually lower ab area, in the middle, but it will move to my side if I roll on the side. Movement is still sporadic.
4. Nope, not picking out nursery stuff until we find out gender.
5. Team Anxiously-Awaiting!
6. Registering after we find out gender!
7. Next Monday at 1:00pm CST we will get our big u/s! Let the countdown begin!

ReplyDelete2. Braxton hicks started a few weeks ago. I never had them this early with my first pg.
3. LO is pretty active - I love that I am feeling her more now. Mostly low and to the left but it's starting to spread out.
4. We have everything from DD #1 that we will be using for this baby. All the furniture and bedding will be reused. We still have to paint since we moved. Her room will be pink and brown. No real theme but some butterfly prints, polka dot sheets, etc.
5. Team PINK! Can't wait for DD #1 to have a sister!
6. Not registering this time since it's our second but with our first the FP papasan swing was a lifesaver and I also recommend sheet savers for the crib!
Hope everyone is feeling good. I love seeing all the "Team..." announcements!
1. Not too bad, definitely easier than the first except for having to find new clothes. You think there would be a bigger market for maternity clothes!
ReplyDelete2. Sore upper back today and what feels like a stitch on my right side like when I'm exercising.
3. He is very active and all over the place. Just depends on what time of the day it is whether he is high or low.
4. Yep! We are doing dinosaurs and painting the walls a light green. We can't start decorating though until after family visits later this month.

Yes, lots since 13 weeks but I can now feel it on the outside. Always lower.

Yes since this is a second baby I really only need girl clothing and some miracle blankets.

We had to gear up fast and paint the nursery this past weekend, because the furniture is not going to take as long as originally anticipated. Can not wait to start decorating the nursery now. Not doing a theme, but is super girly, and something she will like as she gets older
